About the role
We are looking for an experienced C# Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using. NET technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and PostgreSQL database management. Experience with containerization, orchestration platforms, and DevOps practices will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using C# and. NET technologies.
- Build and maintain Microservices-based architectures.
- Develop secure, high-performance REST APIs.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments.
- Follow DevOps and CI/CD best practices to ensure efficient software delivery.
The core requirements for the job include the following:
Primary Skills (Mandatory):
- Strong proficiency in C# and. NET Core/. NET Framework.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing Microservices-based applications.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and Web Services.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design, development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with ASP. NET Web API and backend application development.
- Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and best coding practices.
- Experience with distributed systems and scalable application architecture.
Secondary Skills (Preferred):
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab for source code management and version control.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar build and deployment tools.
Good to Have:
- Frontend development experience using Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools.
