About the role
Cabin Interior & Exterior component / System CAD design and documentation activities through product lifecycle management.
The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and cross functions for component development.
Drives the technical development, Aligning and documenting Design Reviews.
General:
· Strong knowledge plastic Interior and Exterior components / System design, development , relevant Global legislation,
· Strong knowledge in Plastic components Tooling and Manufacturing Methods.
· Strong Know how in Product development processes and design methods- like DFMEA , DFA , FMEA .
· Good knowhow of maintaining design documentation in PLM as well as generate a Bill of material.
· Strong Knowledge of drawings standards, RPS, MPS Systems, and Joining processes, defining Master sections.
· Strong Knowledge of GD&T, should be able to do tolerance stack up.
· Strong hands on experience in CATIA V5 R 20
· Responsible and accountable for Technical decisions, reviews and approvals with collaborative working with Team leaders and technical leads
· Excellent Communication skills, interpersonal skills, Presentation skills ,leverage technical synergies optimize technical solutions and Ability to convince.
· Able to work in Agile way
· Strong knowledge in plastic part design for exterior and interior Trim parts
· Strong hands on experience in Catia V5: Part design, GSD, drawing
· Strong knowledge of CAD competencies considering DFM, DFA, DFMEA
· Good knowledge of Injection molding, tooling
· Interfaces-; Tolerance-; RPS management; Step and Gap Strategy; …
· Development from the concept idea to concept readiness to series production
· Initial sample readiness and control of the component group
· Data handling, filling of wind chill and PDM systems or OAS & ENOVIA
· Fluent in negotiation and argumentation; Management and collaboration in internal and external meetings / committees
· Languages: fluent in English
· Flexible to work in Interior or Exterior
