About the role
- Good experience in Automotive transmission and driveline (traditional and
electric) systems.
- Develop CFD methods and use of tools, to support new designs relevant to
transmission and driveline, as well as resolve issues relating to manufacturing
and quality.
- Should be able to identify root cause of undesired outcomes from simulations
and finding the reasonable solution.
- Experience with two-phase flow modeling (VOF) and multi-cell region problems
(moving/sliding mesh).
- Conduct model correlations for subsystem functionality verification.
- Thorough understanding of physics related to fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
- Hands-on experience with Star-CCM+ and ANSA.
- Preferred candidate will be an individual contributor, working directly with
global design and product development teams on futuristic hybrid and battery
electric vehicles.
