About the role
Ø Geometry Cleanup & Meshing: Perform CAD translation, feature defeaturing, mid-surface extraction, and high-quality 2D (shell) and 3D (tetra/hexa) meshing casting components
Ø Connections & Assembly: Realize and validate 1D/2D connections including spot welds, seam welds, 3D weld connections for solid components, bolts, adhesives, RBE2/RBE3, and CBUSH elements.
Ø Model Validation: Conduct rigorous mesh quality checks, intersection & penetration elimination to meet solver requirements
Ø Analysis Knowledge: Should be able to create a deck for linear/non-linear static analysis & modal analysis. He should be able to debug the initial errors.
Ø Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of engineering mechanics and strength of materials.
Ø Software Proficiency: Expert hands-on command of Hypermesh, Optistruct & MSC Nastran. Expertise in Simlab will be an added advantage
Ø Domain Applications: Build and assemble different components of FE models of agriculture/construction equipment/Automotive components
