We are looking for an experienced Calypso Developer with a strong background in capital markets technology to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5+ years specifically working with the Calypso platform.

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the Calypso platform.
• Work closely with business analysts, traders, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Customize and extend Calypso components including workflows, engines, and integration layers.
• Develop and support interfaces between Calypso and other internal or external systems (via APIs, messaging, etc.).
• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and ensure system stability.
• Participate in Calypso version upgrades, data migrations, and testing efforts.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements in existing Calypso modules.
• Lead and mentor junior Calypso developers.

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on financial services or capital markets.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Calypso platform development and customization.
• Proficiency in Java, JEE, Spring, and related frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Calypso Data Model, Trade Processing, Risk Management, and Back Office Modules.
• Experience with Calypso APIs, messaging systems (e.g., MQ, Kafka), and interface development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, or Sybase.
• Experience with Calypso Workflows, Scheduled Tasks, and Event Processing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Calypso certification (if available).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (JIRA, Git, Jenkins).
• Experience in financial instruments like FX, Rates, Derivatives, or Fixed Income.
• Prior experience working in global delivery teams or investment banks.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
