About the role
Job Responsibilities:
- Strong functional testing experience in the Cards & Payments domain with expertise in validating end-to-end business processes and customer journeys.
- Hands-on knowledge of the complete Debit Card and Credit Card lifecycle, including: Card Issuance & Activation, PIN Management, Transaction Processing, Authorization, Clearing & Settlement, Billing & Payments, Delinquency Management, Disputes & Chargebacks, Card Replacement, Renewal, Blocking and Closure
- Experience with OTS/VTS simulators and card transaction validation across different payment networks.
- Strong understanding of ATM, POS, E-commerce, Contactless, Domestic and International card transaction flows.
- Experience in validating Mobile Banking card functionalities, including: Card Controls, Card Activation, PIN Services, Transaction Limits, Temporary Block/Unblock, Card-related Service Requests
- Ability to analyze business requirements, prepare test scenarios, execute test cases, validate system behavior, and support defect resolution.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, positive/negative, and boundary testing concepts.
- Experience in transaction validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis across Cards & Payments systems.
- Ability to collaborate with Business, Product, Development, and dependent teams for requirement clarification, test data preparation, and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with testing and defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Cards & Payments / Banking domain experience.
- Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, RuPay transaction processing.
- Understanding of ISO 8583 messages and payment processing lifecycle.
- Exposure to digital banking and card management platforms.
