About the role
Seating FOAM Design Engineer
- Develop and model foam components for automotive seats using CATIA V5/V6.
- Create 3D foam surfaces, master sections, and release-ready models per OEM standards.
- Work with styling, structure, and trim teams to ensure proper fit, comfort, and manufacturability.
- Support prototype builds, conduct feasibility checks, and manage engineering changes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure foam performance, durability, and cost targets.
OR
CATIA Seating Plastic Design engineer:
- Proficient in CAD software Catia V5.
- Automotive Seating Plastic domain experience is must.
- Experience in Plastic design & development with manufacturing & tooling feasibility, material selection.
- Must be able to generate A-Surface & B-Side attachment features as per best practice.
- Knowledge of plastic drawing creation with GD&T, kinematics.
- Knowledge of complete seat for plastic design.
- Knowledge of global regulations & OEM requirements studies.
- Good communication skills-written and verbal. 8. Knowledge of data management best practices.
