About the role

Perform cross-liability analysis for standard accounts, identifying locations with cross-liability that require adjustments to how capacity is structured and allocated, beyond standard risk transfer outputs. Determine linesetting (LS) diagrams and capacity allocations, considering loss scenarios, aggregation exposure, risk quality, and reinsurance impacts. Proactively communicate findings to Operations for cross-liability capacity-impacted locations, including any instructions related to necessary adjustment(s) to reinsurance on line settings. Update and maintain cross liability scenarios in Account Insight - Cross Liability. Collaborate with Staff Underwriting, Staff Engineering, Division, and Operations personnel as necessary to resolve any scenarios, including confirming the loss scenario, MFL/Amount Subject, risk quality, and available capacity for line setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a cross liability analysis for requested standard accounts by gathering, evaluating, and documenting exposure data and identifying cross liability exposures that warrant a LS adjustment from what Risk Transfer would otherwise have generated.
  • Determine and finalise linesetting diagrams and capacity allocations by validating risk quality inputs, confirming MFL, and reinsurance impacts.
  • Create, validate, and maintain cross liability scenarios in Account Insight - Cross Liability, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to process standards
  • Communicate findings of analysis to Staff Underwriting, Staff Engineering, Division, and Operations personnel as necessary to resolve any complex cross liability scenarios, including confirming the loss scenario, MFL/Amount Subject, risk quality, and available capacity for linesetting.
  • Identify minor data or workflow improvements.
