OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
The Incumbent will be part of the Legal Documentation team (Non-litigation profile) comprising of 5-6 members of the team. To handle end to end management of documentation related requirements of the Company which includes agreements/Policy contracts and advisory role of the department.
HOW Will YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THIS ROLE
·Contracts – Drafting, Reviewing and Negotiating Agreements including Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Broker Letters, Corporate Agency Agreements, Engagement Letters etc.
·Investment agreements: - Incumbent has to clear the investment agreements/activities which includes agreements pertaining to derivatives/ISDA, investment through AIF/ Offer for Sale etc.
·Policy Documents – Drafting and reviewing of policy documents. To work closely with the marketing/products team for drafting and vetting of Policy contracts.
·Advisory- Provide quality and timely legal advice to the business team on a day to day basis
·Maintain systematic records of all work done and documentation such as MIS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Educational Qualifications:
·LL.B from recognised institution.
Work Experience:
·3-4 yrs. of relevant experience (preferably from Insurance sector/ law firm)
Other skill set:
·Sound legal understanding.
·Good analytical ability
·Good drafting, negotiation and communication skills
