About the role
We are hiring for a Chief of Staff role, based out of our Mumbai office, for candidates who have already cut their teeth in a startup environment. The right person will have been part of a 0-to-1 build in a B2C or D2C business, worked closely with founders, and be comfortable driving program management across ambiguous, fast-changing priorities. This is a high-ownership role that sits at the center of the business, across brand launches, growth initiatives, and day-to-day founder priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with founders on strategic priorities, translating intent into a clear execution plan.
- Drive program management across cross-functional initiatives (product, marketing, ops, finance), keeping every workstream aligned to timelines.
- Bring structure to 0-to-1 problems, from scoping and stakeholder alignment through to launch and post-launch iteration.
- Act as the connective layer between founders and business/functional teams, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Own tracking of key metrics and initiatives across brands, proactively flagging risks and unblocking execution before issues escalate.
- Run weekly/monthly reviews with functional leads, driving accountability against agreed milestones.
- Lead special projects end-to-end, such as evaluating a new brand launch, a vendor partnership, or a new market entry.
- Build repeatable playbooks and processes from what works, so learnings compound across every new brand we launch.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience, with meaningful time spent inside a startup.
- Direct experience with 0-to-1 projects in a B2C or D2C business, from idea to execution.
- Prior experience working closely with founders or senior leadership, comfortable operating with high autonomy and ambiguity.
- Strong program/project management skills, with a track record of driving multiple workstreams to completion simultaneously.
- High problem-solving aptitude (125+ IQ-equivalent reasoning ability).
- Graduate from a well-regarded institute, with a strong academic record.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across both junior teams and founders.
- Willing and able to work in-office in Mumbai, at the pace and intensity of an early-stage startup.
