About the role
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual styles and shot compositions for projects.
- Operate cameras, lighting equipment, and other technical gear to achieve the desired aesthetic.
- Plan and execute cinematic shots, angles, and movements to enhance storytelling.
- Supervise lighting setups to ensure proper mood and visual consistency.
- Work with production teams to determine the best camera equipment and techniques for each project.
- Manage on-set cinematography, ensuring smooth and efficient shooting.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in cinematography.
- Edit and color-correct footage when required to maintain a consistent visual style.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets.
- Proven experience as a cinematographer, director of photography, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing cinematography skills across various formats (films, commercials, music videos, social media content, etc.).
- Proficiency with professional cameras, lenses, lighting setups, and related equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of framing, composition, color grading, and post-production techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with directors, producers, and creative teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
