About the role
Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the CS department and will be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and water supply systems.- Conduct site investigations and surveys to determine project feasibility and requirements.- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects.- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work is completed to specifications.- Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in civil engineering.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the CS department.- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.- Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
