Clearing & Settlement (C & S):Ac & Settlement- Activity ChampionINTERNAL USAGE:No. of Vacancies: Reports to:Manager - SMIs a Team leader:Y/NTeam Size:  Grade:Officer / AM/ DMBusiness:Retail BankingDepartment:�Retail OperationsSub-Department:Clearing & SettlementsLocation: Airoli, MumbaiAbout DepartmentThe Centralized Reconciliation and settlement team look after all the major parts of the reconciliation of the bank related to Government Business, Merchant Payments, ATM�s and networking settlements. They also manage all the disputes related to ATMs and recycler machines by following up with vendors within given timelines and as per RBI guidelines. They are responsible for resolving all the queries, requests and complaints related to Government Business i.e., NPS, APY, RBI agency reporting under which all ministries payments & Receipts. They also manage the recon of PPF, Sukanya Samrudhi, Pensions related to Government sectors.About Role
The main role of the Ac and Settlement team member is to ensure that there is error free handling of Accounting & Settlement process within the stipulated TAT.Key Responsibilities

�         Ensure the completion of accounting and settlement of transactions for cards (Debit/Credit) related process pertaining to various interchange Network like NPCI/Euronet/Visa/Master Card is within stipulated the TAT.

�         Ensure timely reversal of outstanding entries from office accounts.

�         Preparation of MOCs, provision for review with top management.

�         Ensure error free settlement process handling.

�         Conducting UAT on system development for accounting modules.

�         Ensure that there are no audit remarks on the daily processes handled.

Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

�         Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute

�         Knowledge of banking products and services

�         Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms

�         Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language

�         Ability to manage complex client situations

�         Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
