About the role
- Over 8+ years of experience working in IT infrastructure supporting large corporate platforms
- 4+ years' experience with data integration, microservices and back-end platform( using Java and related technologies) in the past or current project.
- Setting-up cloud infrastructure and deploying new services in the Cloud – using Docker and Kubernetes/AWS EKS/OpenShift, provisioning DBs, setting platform monitoring dashboards and alerts.
- Leveraging various APIs to automate manual tasks for infra provisioning and setup.
- Streamlining and improvising the platform’s CI/CD pipeline
- ongoing management and support of the infrastructure and platform including capacity management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
- Good knowledge of several of the core AWS services (S3, IAM, EKS, ELB, Cloud Formation, RDS, etc)
- Good understanding of Linux and networking concepts
- Working Exp. in putting your Java applications into containers(Docker) and placing the containers(Docker image) into Kubernetes/ EKS
- Simplify the process of deployment and scaling using Kubernetes/ EKS
- Working knowledge of orchestration, automating deployment, managing, and scaling containers using Kubernetes/ EKS
Communication between pods(docker image) and opening networking ports.
