About the role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on infrastructure-as-code automation, Kubernetes engineering, DevOps tooling, and strong networking and security fundamentals across Linux and Windows environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code automation.
- Engineer and support Kubernetes environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply cloud networking and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational targets.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Drive process improvements and automation efficiency.
Requirements:
- 13 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- 2+ years of experience engineering Kubernetes solutions.
- Strong experience with automation tools: Terraform, Packer, Puppet.
- Experience with Git version control.
- CI/CD experience using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking: VPNs, SDN, load balancers, DNS, API gateways, routing.
- Solid knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration.
- Understanding of GitOps principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with GitOps tools (FluxCD, ArgoCD).
- Experience with artefact repositories (JFrog Artifactory).
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 13+ years of relevant experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong emphasis on infrastructure automation and public cloud.
