About the role
- Design and define end-to-end cloud and application architecture aligned with business requirements.
- Architect scalable, secure, and highly available solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Define architecture for .NET Core-based Microservices and distributed applications.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams while establishing architecture standards and best practices.
- Design API-led integrations using REST, GraphQL, and messaging frameworks and evaluate appropriate Azure services and architectural patterns.
- Drive Docker and AKS-based containerized architecture and ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability requirements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders and identify opportunities for application modernization and cloud transformation.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud, C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Proven experience designing Microservices and Cloud-Native Applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, API design, distributed systems, and enterprise integration.
- Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience with SQL Server and database architecture.
- Ability to design scalable, highly available, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to GraphQL, WebSockets, Python, application security, monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise application modernization and cloud transformation.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed messaging systems.
