About the role
Job Purpose The IT PMO will be responsible for driving governance, planning, execution tracking, stakeholder coordination, and portfolio reporting for Marketplace technology initiatives. The role will ensure timely delivery of projects, effective risk management, compliance with organizational processes, and alignment across business, product, engineering, QA, DevOps, and support teams. The individual will act as a central point of coordination for project execution, release governance, budget tracking, resource planning, and management reporting. Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Project Governance & Delivery Tracking • Monitor end-to-end execution of Marketplace technology initiatives. • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items. • Ensure adherence to project management and SDLC processes. • Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance reviews. • Publish project dashboards and executive status reports. Portfolio & Program Management • Maintain Marketplace project portfolio and roadmap. • Monitor project health across timelines, scope, budget, and quality. • Consolidate status updates from multiple squads/PODs. • Track key delivery metrics and report variances proactively. • Support prioritization and planning discussions with business stakeholders. Stakeholder Management • Coordinate with Product, Business, Engineering, QA, Security, Infra, DevOps, and Vendor teams. • Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and leadership reviews. • Ensure alignment between business priorities and technology execution. • Drive closure of decision points and escalations. Release & Change Governance • Track release calendars, deployment plans, and production readiness. • Coordinate CAB/CGB approvals and implementation schedules. • Ensure pre-release and post-release governance is followed. • Maintain release reports and deployment dashboards. Risk & Compliance Management • Maintain project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies). • Track audit, compliance, and security-related action items. • Support ISMS, BCMS, VAPT, and regulatory compliance reporting. • Ensure timely closure of audit observations. Resource & Capacity Planning • Support allocation and utilization tracking across teams. • Monitor capacity planning and resource forecasting. • Identify resource gaps and support hiring/backfill planning. • Track vendor utilization and associated deliverables. Financial & Budget Tracking • Monitor project budgets, invoices, POs, and vendor spend. • Track budget consumption against approved plans. • Highlight financial risks and variances to management. • Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities. Metrics & Reporting • Prepare leadership dashboards and executive summaries. • Track KPIs such as: o Delivery predictability o Release success rate o Sprint velocity o Defect leakage o Uptime/SLA adherence o Budget utilization o Resource utilization • Present actionable insights and recommendations.
