Main missions
Write detailed SAM processes
- Participate in the drafting of detailed SAM processes based on the existing standard
- Facilitate workshops with SAM experts and stakeholders.
- Ensure that detailed processes cover:
- the rules of usage rights and publisher metrics,
- technical dependencies (servers, VMs, cloud),
- interfaces with SAM/HAM/CMDB.
Validation of SAM operating guides
- Contribute, challenge and validate SAM operating guides :
- compliance calculation, contract and license management,
- Exception management and publisher audits.
- Ensure consistency between:
- operating guides, detailed processes, Service Now tool.
Transversal coherence & HAM alignment
- Work in close coordination with the HAM process owner in order to:
- Guarantee the consistency of data (CIs, devices, users, servers),
- Neutralize the transversal impacts between SAM and HAM,
- Ensure consistency across a single asset lifecycle
- Identify and address rule discrepancies or conflicts.
Validation within the tool and operational feasibility
- Verify and validate the implementation of SAM processes in the Service now tool
- Contribute to the development of test scenarios in a UAT environment
·Verify that the data required by the processes is implementable in the tool
- Validate workflows, allocation rules, compliance calculations.
- Contribute to the qualification of tool/process evolution needs.
Change Management
- Participate in the creation and implementation of materials and pre-post-deployment support.
- Identify the impacts related to SAM process changes (compliance, roles, tools, data).
- Support teams in the appropriation of detailed SAM processes and operating guides.
- Be a SAM business referent during the transition and maturity phases.
Risk and continuous improvement
- Identify the risks of non-compliance or process drift.
- Propose improvements based on:
- Feedback,
- Audits,
- Compliance and data quality indicators.
