The ideal candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating with operations, engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to identify opportunities for automation, define technology roadmaps, design scalable solutions, and lead global delivery teams. This individual will champion innovation through modern engineering practices, AI-enabled automation, self-healing platforms, operational analytics, and cloud-native technologies.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Technology Leadership

Lead technical solutioning and architecture for global IT Production and Operations transformation programs.
Define automation strategy and execution roadmap aligned with organizational efficiency and productivity objectives.
Act as a trusted consultant to business and technology leaders on automation, operational excellence, and platform modernization initiatives.
Drive innovation through adoption of AI, intelligent automation, agent-based solutions, and modern engineering practices.

Technical Consulting & Solution Design

Translate complex business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Provide domain-specific technical and functional expertise for production support, operations, and automation initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational resilience and efficiency.
Define architecture standards, coding frameworks, integration patterns, and governance practices.

Automation & Operational Excellence

Lead development of automation platforms supporting:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Service Request Automation
- Knowledge Management
- Operational Analytics & Reporting
- Capacity Planning
- Event Correlation
- Self-Healing Operations
Drive measurable reductions in manual effort and operational risks.

Engineering Leadership

Mentor developers, engineers, and automation specialists across multiple projects.
Define coding standards, development practices, and quality frameworks for the organization.
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
Promote a craftsmanship mindset for software engineering and product development.

Delivery & Governance

Lead delivery using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
Ensure compliance with SDLC, security, risk, and operational governance standards.
Collaborate effectively across global teams and vendors.
Drive continuous improvement through DevOps and Continuous Delivery practices.

Desired Experience

10+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering and solution delivery.
Experience leading large-scale automation and transformation programs.
Strong exposure to IT Production, Operations, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering functions.
Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or large enterprise environments is preferred.
Experience establishing automation CoEs, engineering standards, or transformation roadmaps is highly desirable.
