About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization across BI solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver scalable reporting solutions.
Requirements:
- SQL (70%): Strong expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and handling large datasets.
- Should possess advanced SQL expertise; basic SQL knowledge won't work for this role.
- Tableau (30%): Ability to create interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports with decent proficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Python: Exposure to scripting, automation, or data manipulation using Python libraries (e. g., Pandas, NumPy).
Preferred Profile:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in data analytics/BI roles.
- Hands-on experience in SQL-heavy environments with exposure to visualization tools.
