Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics team. In this role, you will leverage data analysis, statistical techniques, visualization, and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, identify trends and opportunities, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and help optimize business processes.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with hands-on experience in SQL, Python or R, data visualization, statistical analysis, and business reporting, along with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Analyze large, structured, and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), data profiling, and statistical analysis to generate actionable insights.
• Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
• Identify business problems and opportunities through quantitative analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, analytical objectives, and key performance indicators.
• Perform root-cause analysis to understand business performance and operational issues.

• Extract, transform, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Perform data wrangling and preprocessing to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Partner with product, engineering, marketing, finance, risk, operations, and business teams.
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Work with stakeholders to establish consistent metric definitions and reporting standards.
• Communicate complex analytical concepts in a simple and business-friendly manner.

• Identify repetitive analytical and reporting processes and automate them.
• Build reusable analytical frameworks, queries, and reporting templates.
• Improve data and reporting processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Contribute to data governance, documentation, and analytical best practices.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Good working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and analytical methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
• Strong understanding of data cleaning, data validation, and exploratory data analysis.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data warehouses.

• 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Product Analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and business performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Experience with experimentation and A/B testing.
• Knowledge of customer segmentation, forecasting, or optimization techniques.

• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or distributed data processing.
• Experience working with modern data warehouses and data platforms.

• Experience in fintech, lending, banking, financial services, e-commerce, or digital businesses.
• Understanding of business metrics, customer analytics, credit/risk analytics, or operational analytics.
