About the role
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Platform Administration:
- Administer and optimize BI/analytics platforms including Snowflake, MicroStrategy SaaS, Qlik, Looker, and Semarchy.
- Lead upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal disruption.
- Manage user access, security settings, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems.
Observability and Troubleshooting:
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alarms, and dashboards (Datadog, CloudWatch) for BI platforms.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and stability issues across applications and data connections.
- Drive proactive detection and resolution of issues to minimize downtime.
