Core Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Siemens TC with integrated NX environment
- Relationship between NX models and associated drawings
- Good understanding of Teamcenter and NX integration
Ability to:
- Search for an item using Item ID, revision, name or description
- Identify the correct item revision and release status
- Locate NX model and drawing datasets attached to an item revision
- Distinguish between part, assembly, drawing, JT and other datasets
- Open a specific NX drawing from Teamcenter
- Open NX data using the correct revision and access mode
- Verify whether the drawing belongs to the correct part or assembly
- Check availability of released and working revisions
Basic knowledge of:
- Teamcenter Rich Client and/or Active Workspace
- Structure Manager and product structure navigation
- Revision rules and configuration context
- Dataset relations, access permissions and ownership
- NX–Teamcenter check-in, check-out, save and close processes
