About the role
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to define and own a data science road map for one or more business areas and build the data science projects at Cashfree from scratch.
- Deliver scalable machine learning solutions to production.
- Provide technical and scientific leadership to the team.
- Roll up your sleeves and do hands-on work when needed.
- Build strong working relationships and collaboration with leaders in product, business, and engineering teams.
- Establish and improve the best data science and engineering practices for the team.
- Maintain a healthy balance between delivery and applied research.
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings.
- 5+ years of experience in applying machine learning and statistical methods to solve complex problems at scale.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and big data technologies.
