Data Scientist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Computer Science or Data Science from IIT, IISc, or a reputed international university. This role requires a deep understanding of data science algorithms, particularly in image and signal processing, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality algorithms efficiently. The Lead Data Scientist will collaborate with a senior data scientist based in Dublin, focusing on innovative AI/ML engineering solutions.

• Develop and implement advanced data science algorithms, particularly in the areas of image and video processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct research and development to enhance existing algorithms and create new methodologies.
• Utilize Python and MATLAB for algorithm development and analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.
• Document processes, methodologies, and results to ensure knowledge transfer and reproducibility.
• Engage in peer reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices.

• PhD in Computer Science or Data Science from IIT, IISc, or a reputed international university.
• Strong expertise in image processing and signal processing techniques.
• Proficient in developing computer vision and image processing algorithms.
• Expertise in Python and MATLAB; familiarity with C++ is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality algorithms in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to medical imaging and medical image analysis.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in data science.
• Experience in R&D organizations.

• PhD in Computer Science or Data Science from IIT, IISc, or a reputed international university.
• Strong academic background with a focus on data science and algorithm development.
