Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing systems using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Create and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading across various data sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Implement data models and schemas on the Databricks platform to support business analytics and reporting.
• Ensure robust performance, security, and data quality in all data processing workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment activities to uphold best practices in data engineering.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have
• Proficiency in Apache Spark and Databricks platform
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with ETL pipeline development and data integration
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of data modeling and architecture best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Preferred
• Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop or Kafka
• Certifications related to Databricks or cloud platforms
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning integration
