In this role you will help us:
- Project and Program Management: Oversee and manage IT projects and programs to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including project managers, developers, and support staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand their IT needs and ensure alignment with project objectives. Maintain strong client relationships.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for IT projects and initiatives. Allocate and optimize resources effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT projects. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of IT deliverables through testing, quality control processes, and adherence to best practices.
- Technology Trends: Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies. Recommend and implement improvements and innovations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, resource utilization, and key performance indicators to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
Skills required to contribute:
We’re looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in IT project management and leadership roles.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud technologies.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
