Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Consultant Dental Assistant to join ourdynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of dentalinstruments, sterilization processes, and patient care. As a Consultant Dental Assistant, you willplay a critical role in assisting with dental procedures, managing patient documentation, andensuring the operatory is prepared and maintained to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:● Dental Instruments Knowledge:○ Proficient in identifying and handling various dental instruments.○ Ensure all instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and arranged for use.● Sterilization Process:○ Adhere to strict sterilization protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.○ Monitor and record the sterilization process and equipment maintenance.● Patient Documentation & Care:○ Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and updates.○ Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and afterprocedures.
● Assist in Dental Procedures:○ Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.○ Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for their treatment.○ Hand instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.● Operatory Arrangement:○ Prepare the operatory before each patient visit by setting up the necessaryinstruments and materials.○ Ensure the operatory is clean and organized at all times.○ Manage dental supplies and inventory to ensure availability for procedures.
