About the role
- Sales Strategy & Targets: Achieve primary and secondary sales targets, volume/value targets, and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and field staff, including conducting on-the-job training.
- Channel Management: Develop and manage distributors/dealers to ensure high service levels, proper stock availability, and ROI.
- Market Development: Identify new market opportunities, conduct market visits, and execute brand promotion and new product launches.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales, analyze reports, and take corrective actions for underperforming areas.
- Reporting: Present sales, revenue, and expense reports, as well as realistic forecasts to management.
