About the role
Key Responsibilities Design Management & Review: Lead and coordinate design deliverables for major dam, powerhouse, and underground tunneling projects, ensuring compliance with structural, architectural, and MEP specifications. Technical Oversight: Evaluate design aspects for both permanent works (piles, pile caps, dam structures, powerhouse) and temporary engineering works. BIM & Software Execution: Utilize design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Navisworks) to manage building information modeling (BIM) processes, resolve spatial clashes, and optimize designs. Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Oversee construction activity workflows across structural, architectural, finishing, and MEP divisions to ensure seamless execution on-site. Stakeholder Integration: Act as the primary liaison between design teams, external consultants, project managers, and site contractors to resolve technical queries efficiently. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Proven track record in design coordination or design management for large-scale civil infrastructure, specifically focused on dams, underground tunnels, and powerhouses. Technical Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of hydro-power facilities, deep foundations, retaining structures, and underground rock/earth works. Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Navisworks, and general BIM modeling workflows. Site Awareness: Solid understanding of on-site construction methodologies and their integration with design models for both permanent and temporary works.
