About the role
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including declarative and scripted Jenkinsfiles and shared libraries.
- Automate build, test, deployment, and validation workflows for Kubernetes-based infrastructure and cloud-native storage products.
- Work with Kubernetes and OpenShift environments to deploy, troubleshoot, and validate applications, operators, pods, services, storage resources, and cluster configurations.
- Support Portworx storage solutions, including PX-CSI, persistent volumes, storage classes, and containerized storage workflows.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Groovy to streamline testing, infrastructure operations, and CI/CD workflows.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, Kubernetes issues, container runtime problems, image pull failures, storage provisioning errors, and infrastructure-related test failures.
- Work with Docker and container images, including image builds, registries, versioning, and deployment workflows.
- Monitor build health, investigate recurring failures, and implement improvements to increase pipeline reliability and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and infrastructure teams to improve test coverage, release readiness, and engineering productivity.
- Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, pipeline standards, and automation best practices.
- Integrate security scanning tools such as Trivy and TruffleHog into CI/CD pipelines to identify vulnerabilities, exposed secrets, and other security risks.
- Apply basic Static Application Security Testing (SAST) concepts and help identify, analyze, and remediate security findings.
