About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments.
- Architect, deploy, and manage services on GCP (App Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, IAM, Networking, Monitoring).
- Administer and optimize MongoDB clusters (replication, sharding, performance tuning, and backups).
- Ensure system reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery across all environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc. ).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, cost, and reliability of infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and optimize runtime environments.
- Implement observability solutions (logging, monitoring, alerting) to enable proactive incident management.
Requirements:
- 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially App Engine and Cloud Run.
- Proven experience in MongoDB administration, schema design, replication, sharding, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
- Solid knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).
- Skilled in Linux system administration (Ubuntu/CentOS).
- Familiarity with networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Monitoring).
- Strong scripting/automation skills in Shell, Python, or Go.
