About the role
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our software products.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure.
- Continuously optimize our development and deployment workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage and scale our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency.
- Implement security best practices across our development and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and software development.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services and Google Cloud Services.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in the Devops role of 3+ years.
