About the role
We are looking for a DevOps/SRE Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team and build, operate, and scale reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure automation, observability, security, and production reliability for high-scale consumer-facing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate scalable production infrastructure on AWS.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes/EKS clusters and containerized workloads.
- Build and improve CI/CD and GitOps-based deployment pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
- Implement reliable deployment strategies, including Canary and Blue-Green deployments.
- Improve production observability through metrics, logs, alerting, and distributed tracing.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across Kubernetes, networking, databases, and upstream services.
- Drive incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Implement infrastructure and workload security using IAM, IRSA, RBAC, secrets management, and network security controls.
- Collaborate with application engineers to improve system scalability, performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, preferably in production-scale environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, services, ingress, DNS/CoreDNS, scaling, and production debugging.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD, preferably ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with AWS IAM, IRSA, STS, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, and WAF.
- Experience handling production incidents, troubleshooting, RCA, monitoring, and alerting.
- Experience with zero-downtime deployments such as Canary or Blue-Green deployments.
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience working in Fintech or B2C/consumer-facing products.
- Experience operating high-scale production systems.
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments.
- Experience with Argo Rollouts or progressive delivery.
- Experience with KEDA/HPA and Karpenter/Cluster Autoscaler.
- Experience with AWS PrivateLink, VPC Endpoints, and Transit Gateway.
- Experience with multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability platforms.
- Experience with service mesh, zero-trust security, or secrets management.
- Familiarity with SLOs, incident management, and SRE practices.
- Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimization.

- GitOps and Delivery: ArgoCD, Helm / Kustomize, Canary and Blue-Green Deployments, Argo Rollouts, Automated Rollback, and Zero-Downtime Releases.
- Observability and Reliability: Metrics, logs and alerting, distributed tracing, production incident response, root-cause analysis, performance and latency troubleshooting, SLOs and reliability engineering, cloud cost optimization.
