About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in AWS, GCP, or OCI cloud environments and experience building scalable, secure, and highly available platforms. The candidate will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and automate infrastructure management.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or OCI environments.
- Configure and maintain compute, networking, storage, and security services.
- Ensure cloud environments are highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient.
- Support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.
CI/CD and DevOps Automation:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Automate build, deployment, and release processes.
- Implement GitOps and DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency.
Containerization and Kubernetes:
- Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, OKE).
- Configure Helm charts, ingress controllers, and deployment automation.
- Monitor and optimise Kubernetes workloads.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Ensure infrastructure consistency across environments.
Monitoring and Reliability:
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support incident management and platform reliability initiatives.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement cloud security best practices.
- Manage IAM policies, access controls, and secrets management.
- Support vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening.
- Ensure compliance with organisational security standards.
Requirements:
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- DevOps and Automation: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CI/CD Pipeline Management.
- Containers and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/OKE), Helm.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation (Good to Have).
- Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog.
- Scripting: Shell Scripting, Python (Preferred).
