About the role
Required Skills: Total 10+ yrs exp Location: Greater Noida/Bengaluru/Hyderabad
· Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
· Strong expertise in AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
· Experience with Helm for packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications.
· In-depth knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure.
· Knowledge and hands-on experience of CDK Typescript
· Experience in setting up and managing monitoring solutions, including Grafana and Prometheus.
· Experience working with Splunk.
· Proficient in Docker containerization and container orchestration.
· Strong command of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
· Proficient in version control systems like Git and GitLab.
· Solid understanding of JVM (Java Virtual Machine) and Java application deployment on Kubernetes. · Scripting and automation skills using tools like Bash, Python, or similar.
· Troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex Kubernetes environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
· Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
· Understanding of security best practices for Kubernetes and AWS.
· Knowledge of networking and experience.
· Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or AWS certifications would be a plus.
Experience in the Financial industry:
· Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
· Experience in working with sensitive financial data and protecting it from unauthorized access.
· Ability to implement encryption and data masking techniques in Kubernetes environments.
· Knowledge of financial risk management and fraud detection in containerized applications.
· Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance and risk management.
· Experience with secure configuration management and auditing in Kubernetes.
· Understanding of financial industry standards for disaster recovery and business continuity.
· Ability to maintain a high level of availability and reliability for financial systems. General Daily Tasks:
· Deploy and manage workloads deployed on EKS cluster, ensuring high availability and scalability.
· Monitor cluster health using Grafana and Prometheus, and proactively address any issues.
· Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Kubernetes infrastructure and applications.
· Collaborate with development teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
· Manage container images and registries, ensuring security and compliance.
· Automate routine tasks and maintenance processes using scripts and automation tools.
· Stay up-to-date with Kubernetes and cloud technology advancements and implement best practices.
· Collaborate with the Backend team to optimize the applications stack workloads performance and cost efficiency.
· Provide on-call support for critical production issues on a rotating basis.
