About the role
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers.
- Define DevOps strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Design and manage production Kubernetes clusters on bare metal/on-premise environments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux, and Tekton.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Build monitoring and observability platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/Loki, and Jaeger.
- Implement security controls including RBAC, Vault, Trivy, OPA/Kyverno, and Falco.
- Design backup and disaster recovery solutions using Velero.
- Manage service mesh and networking technologies such as Istio, Cilium, MetalLB, and NGINX.
- Manage Kubernetes storage solutions including Rook-Ceph, OpenEBS, and Longhorn.
- Handle incident management, RCA, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards.
- Define DevOps KPIs, SLAs, SLOs, and reliability metrics.
