An Oracle Finance Architect with over 15 years of experience is a strategic leader who designs enterprisegrade financial systems specializing in the transition from Oracle EBusiness Suite EBS R12 to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials This role requires a balance of deep accounting knowledge and technical expertise to oversee global transformations and ensure financial data integrity across hybrid environments
Core Responsibilities
Migration Architecture Lead the endtoend design and roadmap for migrating legacy EBS R12 financial data and processes to Oracle Fusion Cloud
Solution Blueprinting Translate highlevel business requirements into scalable architectural blueprints covering core cycles like RecordtoReport R2R ProcuretoPay P2P and OrdertoCash O2C
Global Design Compliance Design global chart of accounts COA structures and ledgers while ensuring adherence to local taxation VATGST Zakat and multicurrency reporting requirements
Strategic Advisory Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and CIOs conducting design workshops CRPSITUAT and providing guidance on cloud adoption and ROI
Governance Mentorship Establish enterprise standards for security data privacy and integrations while mentoring crossfunctional functional and technical teams
Required Technical Functional Skills
Oracle Module Mastery Expertlevel knowledge of General Ledger GL Accounts Payable AP Accounts Receivable AR Fixed Assets FA Cash Management CM and Financial Accounting Hub FAH
EBS Technical Framework Indepth understanding of EBS R12 table structures RICEW objects Reports Interfaces Conversions Extensions Workflows and SQLPLSQL for legacy data analysis
Cloud Tools Integrations Mastery of Oracle Integration Cloud OIC FBDI and ADFDI for data conversion and integrating Fusion with thirdparty banking or tax systems eg Vertex Thomson Reuters
Advanced Reporting Proficiency in OTBI BI Publisher BIP Smart View and Financial Reporting Studio FRS to drive datadriven insights
Emerging Technologies Exposure to Redwood UI and Generative AI within the Oracle ecosystem is increasingly preferred
Experience Education
Professional Background 15 years of total IT experience with at least 810 years specifically dedicated to Oracle Finance EBS Fusion
Implementation Depth Proven record of leading 58 endtoend ERP implementations including major EBStoFusion cloud migrations
Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT or Finance a Chartered Accountant CA or MBA in Finance is highly advantageous
Certifications Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud or OCI Architect Professional certifications are standard expectations for this seniority level
