About the role
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements and user stories into functional applications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with databases and third-party systems.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business teams throughout the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot defects, optimise performance, and resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of C#, ASP. NET Core. NET 6/7/8 and Web API.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, ADO. NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Familiarity with HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest).
- Basic knowledge of Azure, Docker, and Microservices is an added advantage.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorisation (JWT, OAuth 2.0).
