About the role
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Developer with expertise in Python-based development on Embedded Linux/Yocto platforms.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in Linux system development, software porting, firmware flashing, containerized applications, REST APIs, networking, and system-level debugging.
1. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
2. Experience in porting embedded applications and services across hardware platforms and migrating applications to newer Yocto/Linux releases.
3. Expertise in debugging Linux OS and application issues on embedded platforms.
4. Strong proficiency in Python development
5. Good understanding of Linux platform, firmware flashing on board, docker containers, REST APIs, RPM.
6. Working knowledge of Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, UART, RTC, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, TCP/IP, UDP, watchdog, OTA update frameworks such as mender.
7. Experience with GitLab or other version control systems and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
