·Worksdirectlyunderphysicians,assistingthemduringexams,diagnostictestingandtreatments

·Reportsadversereactionstomedicationsortreatmentsinaccordancewiththepolicyregardingtheadministrationofmedications bya licensed registerednurse

Teaches patients and significant others howto manage their illness/injury, by explaining: post-treatment home care needs, diet/nutrition/exerciseprograms, self-administration of medication and rehabilitation, as well as provides referrals to otherhealthcareprofessionalsfor follow-uptreatment
