Job TitleTooling Equipment EngineerRole Ext Grade Open Dept/SBUUPELocation HOSUROrganization RelationshipsReports toAssembly Process Engineering LeaderSupervisesSuppliers, Technical ResourcesCo-ordinates with:Maintenance, MFG, Purchase, Suppliers & Contractors, Corporate ReferentsInternalMaintenance, MFG, Purchase, Corporate ReferentsExternalSuppliers & ContractorsGlobal descriptionPurpose of the RoleWithin the framework Project or Program and Capacity enhancement- Ensures the processing and the industrialization production facilities for the perimeter in accordance with the reference frames in Engine assembly (architecture workshop, Engineering)- He is the privileged Pilot Assembly for all industrial resource.- He is the responsible plannings, investments, performance and quality related to his production facilities.- Interface with the other department (Project, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Product)Job ResponsibilitiesEngineering:• Contributes during specification and design phases to technical solution decisions for Equipments & Facility.• Decide Equipment Upgradation/Installation for New Project Scope• CAPEX budget Preparation & Control for all Engine Assembly shop Projects (Facility Perimeter)• Work actively on rationalization or standards engineering workshop'- Layout Preparation of general AssemblyIndustrialization:• Equipment Technical Specification creation, RFQ creation, Technical Alignment , Installation , Snag Closure & Buy off.• Support local team to define requirements and rules for associated tooling necessary to start production.• Support local team to qualify the Equipments performance in line with requirement .• Write Equipment FMEA, Control plan, Maintenance Plan to sustain the Performance of Equipment• Audit and validate industrial process, documentation, process and means validation, training.• Hands on Experience Tooling, Jigs, Fixture, Pallets Design, Dispensing systems, Vision systems, Power tools & Auto Outrunner stations, Handling aids & Error proofing systems (Engine test bed experience - Added advantage)•Handover to Serial life Production•Suggest Technical solution for Optimizing the Performance of Tools & Equipments• Basic PLC Programming Knowledge• Making, Receive Technical reference for Sensitive Process from Design Department• Guarantee the best interfaces management with the other industrial départementExecution / Serial manufacturing:• Guarantees internal control and good application of Equipment guidelines & rules in line with customers’ requirements.• Performs internal and external audits.• In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, finds and implement repair solutions.Cross Functional Action• Participate to meetings and working groups.• Propose improvement ideas and evolution of the business rules of their domain.Job SpecificationQualificationEngineering GraduateExperience8 ~ 12 years ExperienceCompetenciesa) TechnicalSealant Dispensing, Tooling's, Test Facilities, Layout, Vision systemsEngine Assembly, Maintenance, Project managementInfrastructure , Facility, BuildingDesign, Supplier Selection , InstallationCost Management, CATIA, AutoCAD, MS officeb) BehaviouralGood teaching SkillsInnovative & Participative in Business work groupsProactive ApproachFluent in English is Mandatory
