Equipment Manufacturing / engineering products like pumps,
turbines, Valves, separators, etc., (Preffered Pump Industry)
EPC Sector (Not from Automobile Industry)
Roles & Responsibility
1. Source and procure pump components such as
castings, impellers, shafts, seals, motors, and
fasteners.
2. Evaluate and onboard suppliers based on quality,
cost, and delivery capabilities.
3. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery
schedules with vendors.
4. Coordinate with design, production, and quality
teams to ensure material specifications are met.
5. Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders
to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

6. Track and expedite deliveries to meet production
schedules.
7. Maintain accurate procurement records and
documentation.
8. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers
and cost-saving opportunities.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards and
company procurement policies.
10. Verifications and processing of all supplier bills on
time, escalate if any delay.
Competencies
\u0009 Familiarity with ISO standards and vendor audits.
\u0009 Understanding of technical drawings and
specifications.
\u0009 Experience in handling imports and logistics
\u0009 Technical understanding of engineering components.
\u0009 Proficiency in ERP/procurement software (e.g., SAP,
Oracle).
\u0009 Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
\u0009 Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities
Experienced Required in years
Minimum 7 - 8 years in Procurement (Preferred Pump
Industry)
Compensation Range & Other Benefits
30K - 40K INR as take home per month. Performance
