Accountabilities1. Breakdown MaintenanceAttending Breakdown maintenance on receipt of Breakdown slip/memoDoing root cause (Why Why analysis) analysis and manual check to identify defect/abnormality.Restoring the defective parts & removing the abnormalitiesImplementing the counter measure to prevent occurrence of the same problem/abnormality.Carry out horizontally deployment of counter measure.Preparing for daily review meeting to discuss the maintenance issue.Taking machine trail and handover the machine for production.Coordinating with service engineers for execution of NPD & Improvement with ME Team for machine shifting activityShould have departmental discussion on issues /its resolution so that it should communicated to all concern for effective closure and no repetitions2. Predictive/ Preventive MaintenanceFollowing the prevent maintenance as per annual planAnalyzing the previous history of equipment before taking it for PM.Doing manual inspection of machine & equipment as per the Preventive Maintenance check sheet on daily & weekly basis.Restoring the defective parts & removing the abnormalities & taking corrective measures proactively.Taking trail of equipment to ensure normal functioning of the equipment & handing over to productionFollowing and updating TBM calendarInspect the machine equipments spare parts from time to time as per TBM calendarVerifying the equipment and spare part as per shelf life to analysis its conditionDoing condition-based maintenance to increase the life of the equipment & continuous monitoring the equipment.Maintaining predictive maintenance/activity reportConducting quarterly preventive maintenance to avoid future breakdown3. Inventory Reduction & Cost savingIdentifying critical and non-critical spare partsMaintaining the inventory of spare parts as per the lead time required to procure particular spare part.Reducing the inventory of parts and material by identifying and replacing with common part instead of using different parts.Identify the low cost & long-life parts & materials to reduce the cost of material and parts.Reducing service cost by inhouse training of employees i.e. SW & Apprentice.Energy saving projects4. Spare Part ManagementEnsuring machine wise spare part availability as per the Time Base Maintenance (TBM)Generate PR for procurement of required Spare partTake follow up with Purchase department for timely availability of spare partIssuing spare part from Stores & installing the spare part5. Documentation & other activities:Check Daily breakdown report & update in SAPMaintain documents for TS, IATF AuditMaintaining preventive maintenance check sheet, machine history card, updating TBM calendar, predictive maintenance documentation5s Audit documentation & pre and post reportSuggesting kaizen for improvement & implementationGiving training to casual labor/apprentice
