Qualification & Experience:
Educational requirements:Ø BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience:2-3 Years of experience in sourcing/Compliance domain preferably from capital equipment industry.
Purpose –
The role supports global compliance and regulatory initiatives across various domains including supplier documentation, material traceability, and ethical sourcing. The position ensures alignment with international standards and internal policies, contributing to a robust and transparent supply chain.
We are looking for a person with a methodical and disciplined approach to drive compliance-related activities and documentation projects.
Job description:
Your mission will be to support the company customer centres, Distribution centres and product companies in managing compliance documentation, supplier certifications, and regulatory reporting for assigned regions and commodities.
Your responsibilities will include the following aspects.
Roles and Responsibilities:Ø Handling MQ tickets from CC related to general compliance issues and certificate requests.
Ø Supporting the US Regulation & Legislation project, specifically for steel and aluminium material.
Ø Managing documentation and validation for Country-of-Origin requirements.
Ø Ensuring supplier adherence to the Code of Conduct and maintaining related records.
Ø Coordinating ISO certification documentation and updates.
Ø Tracking and reporting on Conflict Minerals/Responsible Minerals compliance.
Ø Creating and Processing MTC (Material Test Certificate) requests via Medius Flow platform.
Ø Collaborating with sourcing and design teams for technical and commercial clarifications.
Ø Maintaining timely and accurate reporting for compliance metrics.
Ø Raising red flags for delayed or missing documentation to relevant stakeholders.
Ø Co-ordination with design / sourcing team for technical / commercial queries raised by suppliers.
Ø Raise red flags to the concerned in case of delayed deliveries or hold points.
Ø Creation of vendors and signing of Business Code of Conduct etc.
Educational requirements:Ø BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Ø Fluent in English (speaking / writing)
Knowledge:Ø Good Command over ERP Systems, knowledge of SAP is added advantage.
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office (esp. MS Word & MS Excel).
Ø Good Command (Verbal & Written) of English is must.
Ø Knowledge of Engineered rotatory equipment is added advantage.
Ø Plan & organize effectively with the right sense of urgency.
Ø Able to work on multiple tasks by giving due importance to each task.
