About the role
o Exceptional understanding of cost drivers for identifying cost opportunities from supplier quotes.
o Strong analytical capabilities to manage complex trackers and financial data.
o Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with regional and global cross-functional teams.
o Self-starter, highly motivated, keen to learn new skills and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
o Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (specifically Power BI for data visualization, Power Automate for workflow automation or Power Apps for custom business solutions).
o Proven track record of automating manual tasks, reports, or database tracking to improve team operational efficiency.
o Basic knowledge of PLM tools like Teamcenter or 3Dx.
o Hands-on experience with any of automotive commodities: Exterior, Interior, Chassis, or Electrical systems. (Good to have: Wiring Harness commodity experience)
o Strong understanding of commodity cost drivers and manufacturing processes (moulding, assembly, etc.) to deliver cost targets.
o Basic knowledge of using CAD tools (e.g., for viewing, measuring, and analysing 3D models/drawings) and familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
o Strong understanding of automotive product development milestones (Program start to Job 1) and change management processes.
