Keepthe ChiefEngineerinformedofalltheactivitiesincludingBreakdowns,fire&unusualeventsetc.
Shiftoperationofallservices&plants
Monitorstaffonshift,tools&machinery,firesafetypanels,pumps etc.
Assiststafftocarryouttheir jobs.
Liaisonwithotherdepartmentincarryingouttheabovedutiesandassistotherdepartmentwhereevernecessary.
VisitotherdepartmentsforexecutingEngineeringTasks
RegularInspectionofallPlant&Machinery
Controlallthestaffandco-ordinatewithotherdepartments.
Indenting/approvingqualityofengineeringmaterials.
CarryoutdutiesasspecifiedbyChiefEngineerfromtimetotime.
Supportsandinitiateprogramsfortheimprovementproceduresandthereductionofenergyandutilitycosts
Analysesandmonitorsenergycostsandexpendituresforthedepartment.
Maintainsanequipmentandmachineryrecordsystemfortheproperty
RecommendstotheAssistantChiefEngineer,newpoliciesandproceduresforamoreeconomicaloperationandmaintenanceprogram
InteractsandcooperateswithHotelguestsandoutsidecontractorsasdirectedbyhissuperior
Assiststradesmenwithmaintenanceandrepairwhenrequired
Conductsshiftbriefingstoensurehotelactivitiesandoperationalrequirementsareknown.
