About the role
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years of people management experience leading high-performing teams.
- Lead engineering teams building scalable, secure, and reliable platforms across payments, treasury, and FX domains.
- Drive technical strategy, architecture, delivery execution, and roadmap planning aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with Product, SRE, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact engineering outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership in distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and platform scalability.
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineers while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish engineering best practices across software development, CI/CD, testing, observability, security, and operational excellence.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, performance optimisation, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Strong experience with Java, React, AWS, and modern software engineering practices.
- Preferred experience in FinTech, Payments, Treasury, FX, Compliance, Risk, or Fraud domains.
