Job Brief:
Responsibilities:
•Carry out ultrasonic thickness (UT) measurement of pressure vessels, piping, and other static equipment to monitor wall thickness and detect corrosion or erosion.
•Perform MPT, DPT, UT and RT Interpretation to detect defects in welds and components.
•Apply working knowledge of API 510 and API 570 codes while planning and executing inspection activities.
•Demonstrate sound understanding of WPS, WQT, and PQR to ensure welding quality.
•Plan and execute inspection activities during plant shutdowns, including vessel inspection, pressure test witnessing, visual inspection, and welding inspection.
•Prepare accurate NDT and inspection reports, maintain proper records, and coordinate effectively with vendors and contractors.
•Carry out vibration data collection as per schedule and priority
•Record and compile vibration data for review
•Ensure measuring instruments are maintained in healthy condition
•Carry out incoming inspection of bearings
•Check quality of material received as per specifications
•Check quality of fabrication and erection work as per quality plan
•Carry out inspection of fabrication work at vendor's shop
•Maintain and update drawing records
•Ensure proper numbering and filing of drawings
•Maintain inspection and NDT records as per plan
•Follow safety program and procedures
•Report and learn from near-miss cases
Key Interactions:
Preferred Qualifications: B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) + ASNT Level II (Minimum)
Education and Experience: 6 - 10 Years, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience in inspection and NDT activities

Skills: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Inspection / NDT activities, with practical competency in UT, MPT, DPT and RT Interpretation.
