About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to support cost planning and project budgeting across our real estate developments—spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analyses during pre-construction and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, and municipal regulations.

  • Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial real estate projects.

  • Generate and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs.

  • Conduct rate analysis for civil, finishing, and MEP works based on current market rates.

  • Liaise with procurement to collect vendor/supplier quotations for costing inputs.

  • Prepare and evaluate cost comparison sheets, cost-benefit analyses, and value engineering proposals.

  • Track and update construction cost databases with recent rates and inflation-adjusted pricing.

  • Collaborate with the design, execution, and finance teams to align costs with project budgets.

  • Assist in preparing technical and commercial bids for government or private tenders, if applicable.

  • Participate in site visits for scope verification and to support cost validation during execution.

Key Skills Required:
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting GFC drawings, tender documents, and construction specs.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and any estimation or ERP software (e.g., Candy, CostX, SAP).

  • Strong knowledge of market rates for materials and labor in the real estate sector.

  • Understanding of construction practices, including RCC, finishing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.

  • 3–7 years of experience in estimation, cost planning, or quantity surveying within real estate/construction.

  • Familiarity with RERA guidelines and local building codes is an added advantage.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Saturday

  • Site and office-based coordination

  • Travel to project sites as needed
